Can You Sell Peptides on TikTok Shop? And on Amazon, Shopify, Stripe or PayPal?

Some related products, such as cosmetic skincare and collagen supplements, can be listed within the rules. The other big marketplaces and payment platforms take a similar line on peptides themselves.

Can you sell peptides on TikTok Shop?
No. Peptides and injectable products fall within TikTok Shop's prohibited categories. TikTok also bans many medicines, drugs and wellness products, and it restricts claims about weight, fat loss and muscle gain.
What is not allowed on TikTok Shop, for a peptide seller in practice:
- Peptides and injectables. Whatever the label says, including research-use wording.
- Medicines and drug-like products. Including anything presented as a treatment.
- Weight and body-change products. Items marketed for weight loss, fat reduction or muscle gain, including anything referencing GLP-1s.
- Medical and wellness claims. Restricted for both sellers and creators across listings, videos and live streams.
Breaking these rules leads to listing removal, account suspension or loss of selling privileges. Sellers who appear to get away with it usually have not been found yet. Enforcement tends to arrive once a listing gains traction, which is the worst possible moment.
Can you say peptides on TikTok?
Mentioning the word is not the same as selling. Promotion is the problem.
- Health and weight claims are restricted. For sellers and creators alike, in videos and live streams.
- Promoting unapproved drugs gets content removed. Repeat violations lead to account restrictions.
- Links to a peptide shop invite enforcement. Educational content that funnels viewers to a store is treated as promotion.
What peptide-related products can you sell on TikTok Shop?
The ban covers peptides as compounds. Some products that contain or relate to peptides sit in categories TikTok does allow, within its rules.
Cosmetic skincare with peptides. Beauty products can be listed under TikTok's UK beauty rules. Claims must stay cosmetic, such as "skin appears brighter", and must not promise to treat or cure anything.
Collagen and food supplements. Supplements are allowed subject to category qualification, which means providing documents such as invoices and certificates. Weight, muscle and medical claims remain off limits.
Relisting is not a workaround. Describing research peptides as skincare or supplements to get them listed is the kind of mismatch that ends in suspension, and it undermines the research-use position everywhere else you sell.

Shopify is worth separating out. The store platform and Shopify Payments are different products. Some sellers keep a hosted store with a third-party gateway, subject to the platform's policies, while many peptide sellers choose a self-hosted platform for more control.

- A consistent website. Approval is difficult, and underwriting reviews the whole site against the use you declare.
- The required documentation. Company documents, the catalogue with intended use, supplier details and batch certificates.
- No reasons to decline. Applications are commonly declined for human-use signals and undisclosed products.
- What improves approval odds. A compliant site and evidence ready before it is asked for.
- Compliance off-site too. Social accounts and creator partnerships count as part of the business.
